VW are to introduce the all new performance Polo R-WRC to this year’s World Rally Championship, with its competition debut in early 2013. But interestingly VW have also bought out the road going concept car. This car is no marketing exercise and you will be able to buy one for the road towards the end of 2013.
The engine will be a 220bhp 2.0 litre TSi unit and will be the Polo WRC Street. And if that is not enough for you then and even hotter ‘R’ version is going to follow after that. We will be keen to cover these thorugh our performance Volkswagen car insurance.
