About the Audi e-tron GT

Some have called the Audi e-tron GT a relative of the Porsche Taycan range, where they share the same VW Group J1 platform and similar technology.

Working to Audi’s strengths, this reliable car manufacturer has introduced its e-tron GT models to the market so fans can relish in a sportier alternative to the desired Audi e-tron range.

Whilst not the first fully electric vehicle to wear the Audi badge, the e-tron GT is certainly considered one of the most exciting. For lifelong Audi drivers and fans, the e-tron GT is built alongside its most prestigious cars, including the Audi R8, at the Bölinger Höfe facility in Germany.

Audi e-tron GT Quattro

In the e-tron range, both models offer four-wheel drive, and have the same two-speed gearbox on the rear axle to maximise acceleration. Even at higher speeds, both are capable of an efficient, smooth output. This is partly because they feature a 93kWh battery (as standard).

When launch control is activated, the e-tron GT can reach 0-62 mph in 4.1 seconds (with a top speed of 152 mph), a time shortened to 3.3. seconds by the RS e-tron GT.

The e-tron quattro range can achieve a maximum range of 298 miles, recharging at 5 – 80% within a timeframe of only 23 minutes (at a 270Kw charging station).

The e-tron quattro is considered the entry-level car of the two models.

Audi RS e-tron GT

The RS e-tron GT offers a sporty look that’s matched in its character, with its interior design enhancing the driving experience. The front seats, for example, provide good lateral support when cornering at speed.

Performance figures are just as impressive as its rapid charge times, producing 590bhp (or 637bhp on overboost), which earns it the credit of the speediest RS model by Audi. The RS e-tron GT offers rapid charging, taking the battery from 5% to 80% charge in only 23 minutes. This model can achieve a range of up to 283 miles.
