A BA30 endorsement on your licence is the result of being convicted of driving while disqualified. Once your disqualification comes to an end you may find it difficult to get cheap car insurance. After having driven despite being disqualified by the courts, insurers will not look favourably upon you.

Getting An BA30 Endorsement

A BA30 endorsement is the penalty for being caught attempting to drive while disqualified by the court. If caught, the endorsement is added to your licence.

Penalties For Attempting To Drive While Disqualified

If convicted, your BA30 endorsement will remain on your licence for 4 years from the date of the offence. You will also receive 6 points on your licence. If you acquire more than 12 points on your licence within 3 years, which could be possible if you are already disqualified from driving, you will receive a driving ban.

BA30 Car Insurance

We understand that 4 years of having to explain the circumstances of your endorsement is stressful and time consuming. When you are able to drive again, a BA30 endorsement will make getting an insurance quote difficult. When you eventually receive a quote, it is likely to be much higher than usual. Any endorsements are evidence of higher risk drivers in the eyes of insurers.

At Keith Michaels we know you’re a person, not a policy number. Our specialist brokers are happy to help with your search by finding the best insurance policy for the best possible price.

We can provide a range of car insurance quotes that are tailored to your personal situation, to keep your premium as low as possible and back on the road as soon as possible.

It is vital that you disclose any and all convictions you have when shopping for car insurance. Failure to disclose is a breach of the law and will invalidate your insurance. If you are stopped by the police, you will receive a driving ban. For more handy information for convicted drivers, click here.
