Subaru BRZ Super GT Racer

With the rivalry between the Toyota GT86 and the Subaru BRZ getting off to a good start, it looks as though Subaru are planning to pull into the lead with the release of the BRZ super GT that is likely to really impress on the track. Judging by release pictures, it’s going to do just that.

So far this year it would appear that customers of Subaru are extremely happy with the performance of the BRZ and now with the GT version taking to the track it would appear there could be even more to come. Perhaps an STI version that Subaru have produced so well in the past. With rumors already flying all over the place, speculation to the STI this will only increase interest from the already huge Subaru following.

Although there aren’t any details on the car yet, we are informed that the Subaru BRZ super GT will be taking part in the GT3000 section of the Japanese super GT. This is quite a feat to overcome when you consider how big the competition will be, with the likes of Porsche, Ferrari, Lamborghini and BMW taking part year in year out and usually coming out among the best.

Whether you are a believer or not, Subaru‘s history in the motor sport world can only fill most fans with optimism as the Subaru BRZ super GT heads into the competition, an optimism that we admittedly share. As well as looking to impress in the GT3000 series, the car has already started to impress people who appreciate a good looking car. With a fierceness that looks to rival the Porsche GT3 RS and a coolness that
will put most Audi’s to shame, it really does look fantastic. And considering the BRZ is another Subaru brain child, you can be sure that the performance of this car is really going to impress.
