Clio Renaultsport 200

Never one’s to miss out on the opportunity to impress with style, Renault have just released the new Clio Renaultsport 200. Not only is it another addition the the Clio Renaultsport collection, its another twist on the design aspects of the model. Having decided they want to get rid of the old bubble car look, Renault have added a newer, sleeker looking model that from the front all the way to the back, has new curves and and forming that will constantly impress passers by.

An automatic six speed gearbox and a 1.6litre turbocharged engine give the Renault Clio Renaultsport 200 just the right kind of thrust you would want from the brand and it’s no more than you would expect from a nippy hot hatch that can get you from A to B quickly and comfortably. Unfortunately,  considering the increase to 200hp, the Clio doesnt really dazzle any petrol heads as they have taken a dive from 177lb ft of torque to 158lp ft, a noticeable difference that just doesn’t rev our engines, and for that reason we are skeptical.

The chassis on the Clio renaultsport is one that won’t disappoint as Renault have decided to stick to the Sport and Cup versions they have had on previous models. Not only will you have the comfort you want from your every day drive, you will have the handling and curb hugging performance you expect when you decide it’s time to venture on to the track.

Prices aren’t out just yet, but Renault have promised that by the time February comes round the Clio Renaultsport 200 will be priced up and ready to go for early summer time. Fingers crossed that this one can pull something out of the bag and offer something others on the scene can’t…
