It goes without saying that the most anticipated car of the Geneva motor show was Ferrari’s latest Hyper-car LaFerrari. There was a lot to live up to for LaFerarri as previous Ferrari’s with the Hyper-car label were models such as the Enzo and the F40 which, as we know, are two of the greatest cars to have ever graced tarmac the world over.
With Ferrari pulling the cover on LaFerrari the excitement that went through the room was electric, and looking at the car you can understand why. This has to be one of the best looking Ferrari’s in recent years, and I don’t know many people that would disagree. Not only does it blow most of the recent Ferrari range out of the water for looks, it hits the McLaren P1 and the Lamborghini Veneno for six too.
Looks aren’t everything though as we all know, and Ferrari made sure that LaFerrari wasn’t left lacking in the performance department either. LaFerrari will be powered by an 800hp, 6.3-litre V12 and a 163hp electric motor, giving a total combined BHP of 963. Although those figures are impressive we won’t get too excited just yet for the final performance figures as a more accurate set of numbers are set to be released in the future.
All the information released so far leaves the mind slightly boggled, but it’s all impressive, even down to the emissions which are said to be 330g/km. Not only are the figures impressive alongside the looks of the exterior, the interior is amazing too after being designed to replicate the single seated F1’s (with a little help from Massa and Alonso of course).
