Although we don’t have too much information at present, news is that the next generation of the fabulous BMW M3 range will have an Inline 6 cylinder engine and turbo-charging.
The engine will also be used in the all new BMW M4 coupe.
2 or 3 turbos will be used, of which one will be boost electrically. This really does move on the world of performance cars into the next generation and just shows how much thought modern car makers are having to put into their models.
Apparently at least 450bhp will be the output of the new engine which will keep all the BMW M3 fans happy. We will await more news which is no doubt going to come out soon as the car should be with us in about 18 months time.
