Jaguar’s New Engines

Jaguar have announced 2 new engines at the Bejing Motor Show – a 3.0 litre supercharged V6 and a 2.0 litre turbocharged 4 cylinder one

The XJ ‘Ultimate’ will be the first model to come with the new V6 motor with a 340bhp version. It will also share this with the Jaguar XF. Sharing its roots with the 5.0 litre V8, the V6 will provide a 20% fuel saving which will be a boost for such a big car.

This engine will be shared with the new ‘F’ Type Jag which will have an increased output to 380bhp. We are very much looking forward to these models and being able to provide prestige car insurance via our Jaguar car insurance products.

The 2.0 litre engine will be replacing the current V6 3.0 litre petrol version currently used in their cars, and will be used in the XF and XJ models and provide 240bhp.
