It has been announced that an ECU and upgrade for Nissan GT-R supercars will be introduced soon.

According to Nissan’s tuning arm NISMO, ECU and transmission chips extracts more power from Nissan GT-R. The new transmission chip increases the electronically controlled speed limiter to 200mph and produces quicker downshifts. The ECU chip increases maximum boost pressure by 0.1 bar (1.5 PSI) to improve low end torque.

To upgrade will cost around £2,000 but that will only rent you the two units for 24 months. After you pay an additional £220 per year to keep the upgrades, they will continue to provide a warranty on NISMO chipped Nissan GT-R supercars.

Older models of Nissan GT-R can be upgraded with a new series of performance parts directly from Nissan.
