It appears that there has been a milling machine calibration problem with one machine in the factory which could result in engine failure at high revs! Ferrari are of course doing a complete crankshaft and engine rebuild free of charge (as you would expect).
Apparently this only effects some 200 of the 13,000 units so far built but it is worth a quick check with your dealer.
If you have one of the 200 insured with us under our Ferrari insurance then the above will have no effect on your policy. Ferrari themselves have taken on full responsibility and will sort out any issues.
