Aston Martin DBS Replacement

default header image

Aston Martin have unveiled a new concept car that should be the replacement for the DBS. Unlike recent offerings form Zagato, Aston look like they will be going their own way with the design – we think it looks stunning.

The car is obviously a continuation of the current theme (like Porsche) and we can see no reason why they would want to change such an iconic look. With rear light from the One-77, a flatter rear screen and wider haunches, the car has moved on from the current DBS, but only slightly.

Pistonheads took this pic which shows it in its glory:

Power must come from the current V12 engine (or we will eat our hats) and this will likely be a small upgrade on the existing 510bhp, hopefully better than the 18mpg, and probably nearer to £200,000 in price.

Next year is the centenary of Aston Martin and they are obviously keen to have a car that can celebrate this – we are also keen to cover the new car via our Aston Martin insurance.

Details of the car have still to be released but we believe this will be fairly soon. In the meantime, if you own a car like this then we will be more than happy to talk to you about our performance car insurance range which is ideal for vehicles like this.
