You need CU50 car insurance if you have been causing or were likely to cause danger by reason of load or passengers. If you have a CU50 endorsement on your driver’s license you will find it difficult to get a good deal on your car insurance. At Keith Michaels we specialise in sourcing the best deal on convicted driver car insurance.
How you got a CU50 conviction code
You are given a CU50 endorsement on your driver’s license if you caused or were judged likely to have caused danger by reason of load or passengers. This is most commonly caused by younger drivers.
Penalties for Causing or likely to cause danger by reason of load or passengers
In addition to the endorsement, you will also receive 3 points on your driver’s license. The endorsement and points remain on your license for 4 years from the date of the offence. If you acquire more than 12 points on your license, you are subject to a driving ban.

CU50 Car Insurance
However, our specialist brokers are happy to help with your search by finding the best insurance policy for the best possible price.
At Keith Michaels we know you’re a person, not a policy number. We can provide a range of car insurance quotes that are tailored to your personal situation, to keep your premium as representative as possible and back on the road as soon as possible.
It is essential that you disclose any and all convictions you have when shopping for car insurance. Failure to disclose is a breach of the law and will invalidate your insurance. If you are stopped by the police, you will receive a driving ban. For more handy information for CU50 convicted drivers, click here.
