Now, if you own a performance car like the glorious Mercedes SLS AMG, and you want that little bit more, then you can now start to think about the latest in the range – the Mercedes SLS AMG Black. As with other cars with the ‘Black’ moniker, this promises to be the ultimate in high speed comfort.
Due to make its appearance in 2013, the SLS Black doesn’t just have wider arches, it features an exhaust system that will give it just what the car deserves. Rumour has it that the car will put out an estimated 660 bhp which is a huge increase form the previous SLS GT (590 bhp). This will be mated to a quick shifting 7 speed gearbox and will no doubt require superb tyres to cope.
Although prospective buyers will have to wait, we estimate that this car will be double the price of the standard one (in true Black car tradition), but to whet your appetite there is a video here of the car testing at the Nurburg…
