The CSC is seen by Mercedes as a move into the premium C sector for their CLS 4 door coupe range. A saloon will follow named the CLA.

With dramatic sweeping looks, both inside and out, the car will be based on the same platform as the A. A 2.0 litre turbocharged engine provides 211 bhp and put down to the road using 4 wheeled drive (via a 7 speed gearbox).
