At a glance, the design can be summarised as a minimalist tale in car manufacturing. Despite minor changes to the exterior – a taller, curvier build – the Honda-e still manages to resemble its concept.
Beneath this surface, the Honda-e’s interior is a tech-infused paradise in high-resolution, featuring a driver display, multiple 12.3-inch touchscreens and a further two screens that feed into the rear cameras (which function as the wing mirrors).
The user-friendly technology, a big theme in the cabin’s design, serves to heighten city driving with useful features such as of Honda’s Parking Pilot and easy satellite navigation. The Honda-e Advance, for example, is reserved for outputs at 154hp and packs a 113kW electric motor, meaning the car can manage an average range up to 130 miles.
Designed for urban roaming, the Honda-e can reach 60mph in 9 seconds, where its more advanced counterpart can achieve that in 8.3 seconds. Overall, the Honda-e’s performance is a composed ride, with nimble handling and rear-wheel drive layout that makes light work from tight manoeuvring.
