About the Mustang Mach-E
The Mustang Mach-E is Ford’s first electric SUV and was designed and named after the company’s iconic muscle car. This car borrows from the high-performance Mustangs of old.
With a listed maximum driving range of 379 miles, the Mach-E has been designed for both inner city drivers and those in more rural locations. In fact, the UK launch was hosted from England’s smallest town for the Mustang Mach-E to encourage uptake from rural drivers and educate those in smaller towns about range and EV use in the countryside.
Ford’s goal with their EV range is bring the ‘fun-to-drive’ experience to EVs. This is on show with their Mach-E GT edition, reaching 0-62mph in 3.7 seconds, and offering more torque than any other Ford EV on the Europe market currently. Mach-E brings sport and electrification into one car.
With the original Mach-E, Ford has also released an AWD version, a First Edition model and the GT version, with new models starting at £41,330.
