Limited edition Peugeot 208 GTI

It’s not often in the motoring world that the “limited edition” version of any  vehicle is released before the actual vehicle itself, Peugeot have decided that with the new 208 GTI this is what will be done. Why, you may ask are Peugeot doing this? Well, it is to mark the 29th anniversary of the UK launch for the 205 GTI from back in 1984. Coincidentally, Peugeot are only releasing 29 of the 208 GTI’s to our UK streets to coincide with this.

For approximately £20,500 you will get SatNav, satin pearlescent white paint, 17″ onyx black alloys, an individually numbered car, and the grille will be designed with a Union Jack on it to show the importance the GTI badge has had on the UK motoring trade. With only 54 going on sale worldwide, it is clear to see that the UK are getting a fair share of the Peugeot 208 GTI’s and from what we can see from the early released pictures that doesn’t seem bad to us at all.

As well as the limited edition, Peugeot are going to be releasing the original 208 GTI which has already taken 11,000 orders since books opened earlier this year.
