Storm Brendan’s 80mph winds have caused a trampoline to blow into the middle of the M7 motorway in Limerick, blocking two lanes. Below is the bizarre footage of the trampoline that someone has filmed while being a passenger in a passing car.

It is believed that the trampoline has now been removed from the motorway by emergency services. The public has been advised to avoid coastal areas if travelling throughout Storm Brendan, which is said to have brought with it gusts of more than 80mph. Strong crosswinds can affect how much control you have of your vehicle, so make sure you drive sensibly during times of increased wind, rain and fog.
