The Spyder will be capable of reaching 198mph but will still be able to manage 94mpg on a combined use. The Spyder will be developed at Weissach and will be manufactured and assembled in the Zuffenhausen Porsche plant in Germany.

The 918 will be produced in limited numbers but will prove that Porsche are taking the right approach with Porsche intelligent Performance that features a combination of supreme performance and efficient drivetrain concepts.

The Release date and full technical details for the 918 Spyder will be revealed over the next few months.
