The Wraith is unique; it’s a four- seater, 2 door, pillarless luxury coupe and is “the most powerful and dynamic Rolls-Royce in history” with a turbocharged 6.6-litre V12 producing 624bhp. If that is not enough information the name Wraith comes from an old Scottish word meaning image of a ghost or spirit, a name it shares with the 1938 model from the original Rolls Royce company. One for the Trivia quiz!!
Its top speed is limited to 155mph and achieving such speed I suspect would be a cinch (not having been in one) with its two turbos together with a huge amount of torque 590lb ft available from 1,500rpm. This power can shift the Wraith’s 2.4 tonnes to 60mph in 4.4secs which is quicker than many sports cars and hot hatches with similar power-to-weight ratios. Somehow, I suspect this would be achieved in the same serene Rolls-Royce manor complete with the wool floor mats under the throttle!!
It may be the most sporting Rolls ever, but according to Rolls-Royce it is still luxurious. Four individual seats with splendid materials across the surfaces with head and leg room to spare, even in the rear. Should you likely to be photographed don’t worry, the front seats move forward electronically to allow anyone climbing in or out of the rear some additional space and grace.
The Wraith’s starting price is £258,000 but very few Rolls-Royces leave the Goodwood factory without having been made to their buyer’s exact needs; matching colours inside and out, fibre-optic headlining are only 2 items from the extensive list which is probably only limited by the buyer’s imagination!!

Spoke to a helpful Chap called Matt Moody (great name by the way), who was anything but what his name suggests. He was patient with me and found me a really competitive quote. Would recommend!
Honest guys. Very straight forward.
Excellent service, after returning to UK after a long period away, they took care of my insurance needs in a very professional and efficient manner as well as being very competitively priced.
I've been insuring with Keith Michaels for quite a few years now & have been very satisfied with the service. They have been very helpful & give a very personal service. Even after shopping around each time, (as we are all told to do!) Keith Michaels prices are still very competitive & hard to beat.
Can never fault these guys. Renewed for the 3rd year running as they've great price and amazing customer service!
A human voice answered the phone straight away and gave me a competitive quote quickly and efficiently, which I accepted. Confirmation processed quickly too. Efficient use of their time and mine.I am a new customer so time will tell whether I remain satisfied!
As an expat with a home in the UK it was great to find a broker who had insurance companies on the books who were willing to recognise No Claims gained in the EU
Effortless process and wonderful service. Their tailored expat products take all the heat out of something that other insurance companies seem to want to over complicate. Cannot recommend highly enough.
