Gary joined Keith Michaels in 1993 and has over 30 years’ experience of providing specialist insurance policies of all types. His leadership and experience have led him to be made Sales Manager and is very well known to both insurer partners and customers alike. He is an expert at placing motor insurance policies which require something ‘out of the norm’ and looks at each risk based on its own merits.
Gary’s principal specialities are for drivers who have been living abroad but have returned to the UK (expats), those who live abroad but keep a vehicle in the UK, and for foreign citizens who have relocated to the UK (or plan to do so). This, coupled with his extensive knowledge of the Performance/Prestige car insurance market, means he has long established links to specific insurance underwriters to cover everything from those simply struggling to arrange cover, to high-net-worth individuals needing a dedicated personal service.
Bespoke policies are what Gary’s customers need, and this is what he can provide. These are not contracts readily available via standard outlets (such as online insurers) but after careful evaluation of risk details, he can often find a solution to what many others may struggle to cope with. He has many very long-standing client relationships, and he enjoys working with them, as he does with the insurance companies he represents.

Outside of work, Gary is a keen follower of anything related to Motor Sport and is often travelling both around the country and abroad to watch a variety of different classes, including Formula 1 and Le Mans sports cars. He is very much a family man and spends as much time with them as possible, especially when they can share his passion for racing.
