Entry Deadlines for the 2010 Formula One season passed last week and David Richards, the chairman of Prodrive (experts on modifying Subaru's), said that an entry had been submitted to take part in the upcoming season.
With this years F1 season firmly underway there is a lot of speculation surrounding whether or not Ferrari may eventually leave the sport after the talk of implementing Budget caps to teams taking part. Currently there is space for one new team but if others drop out then more will be available.
If Prodrive were to be successful in their bid they will eventually rebrand to Aston Martin in F1. So, even though Subaru no longer compete in the WRC, it doesn't look like there will be a Subaru F1 team either!
