Porsche have revealed a new limited-edition model, the 911 Sports Classic. Based on the Carerra S, the Sports Classic has retro-inspired styling featuring black alloy wheels and a spoiler that harks back to that of the 1973 Carrera RS 2.7.
Engine-wise the Sports Classic is based on the Carerra S. However, thanks to new cylinder heads and intake system, power has been increased from 380bhp to 402bhp. This creates a 0-60 time of 4.5 seconds and a top speed of 182mph.
The Sports Classic goes on sale in January 2010 and starts at £140,049. Get on the waiting list quick though - Porsche are limiting production to 250 units.
If you're lucky enough to grab one of these or any other Porsche, you'll need specialist Porsche Car Insurance, courtesy Keith Michaels.
