Ferrari 599 to Bring Back the GTO

Ferrari is planning to turn its 599 GTB hyper-GT with a hardcore version based on the track-only 599XX into a 'Scuderia-ise' look. First time since the fantastic 1984 288 GTO, it could even bring back the GTO badge.

Since the debut of the 458 Italia, it has only been made possible when Ferrari re-developed the 599 into a 'sports car' rather than a 'GT'.

The new 599 GTO with 700bhp is going to cost around £300,000 and could become one of the quickest Ferraris ever been made. As rumoured, it should be able to do 0-60mph in just 3.2secs and reach the top speed of 217mph.
