The Nissan GT-R is a car that can boast speed and there is no doubt about that when you see some of the re-tuned models out there today. This weekend the Severn Valley team headed down to Santa Pod to put the insane mechanical monster onto the quarter mile track to test just how quick it was. John Hanton, the owner of the vehicle, was the man to step up and see what he could do behind the wheel on this particular day and to say it went well would be an understatement. With a time of 8.93 secs and a speed of 168.56 mph The Nissan GT-R “Mad Medusa” smashed the previous UK and European record in a stock capacity R35.
