Alfa Romeo 4c

default header image

It is not long now until the Alfa Romeo 4c is available to buy. The concept has been around since it was first shown off at the Geneva show back in March 2011, but the Alfa team have come up with a new paint colour for the 4c and they showed it off at the Frankfurt show in September 2011. This new colour is called Fluid Metal, however the red is still available.

The 1.7 litre turbocharged engine goes 0-62mph in less than 5 seconds with a top speed of over 155mph. This car is a coupe rival to the Porsche Cayman and it is only 4metres long with a wheel base of 2.4m. The lightweight body structure including a carbon fibre chassis keeps the weight down to 850kg.

At a showroom price of around £40,000, and with production already started, Turin forecasts 1500 will be sold each year.
